Delete your Hey Susan account

This page explains how to delete your Hey Susan account and the data tied to it. Hey Susan is operated by Humanoid AI Inc.

Delete it yourself, in the app

1. Open the Hey Susan app and sign in.
2. Go to More, then tap Delete account.
3. Read the warning, confirm you understand, and confirm again.

This permanently deletes your account and your logged data, including feeds, sleep, growth records, milestones, and conversation history. It can’t be undone. No email or phone call is needed.

Can’t open the app? Ask us

Email hi@heysusan.app from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. We will delete your account and associated data.

What we keep after deletion

• Free-trial record, up to 12 months. If your account has had a free trial, we keep a small record so the same person doesn’t get a second trial: a one-way code (a keyed hash) made from your sign-in email address, phone number, and Apple or Google account identifier, plus the start and end dates of the trial. It holds no name, nothing about your child, and nothing about how you used Susan, and we can’t turn it back into your email address or phone number. We use it only to decide whether a new account can have a free trial, we don’t sell or share it, and we delete it automatically 12 months after your account is deleted. We don’t create it if an account is deleted because the user was under 13. You can ask us to delete it sooner at hi@heysusan.app; if we do, we can no longer tell that an earlier account used a trial.
• Terms-acceptance records. The record that your account accepted our Terms of Service may be kept as a minimal legal record.
• Other minimal records. Other minimal records may be kept where required for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
• Shared household data. If you share a household with another caregiver, the household and child profiles are shared, so they stay for the other person. If you are the only or last member, they are deleted with your account.

If you pay for Hey Susan

If you subscribed in the iOS or Android app, cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel it, and we can’t cancel it for you. If you subscribed on our website, deleting your account also turns off renewal, and you can cancel under Manage billing at heysusan.app/account.

Website visit records

Records of visits to our website are kept for at most 180 days and then deleted automatically. If you have an account, they are also deleted when you delete your data.
